23/08/2015 11:01

With the 2015 season going into the second half the TouringCup is having major reforms. Starting from 2016 the series will have different classifications for the drivers. The following table is with the list of the different classifications:

  Type Note:
General Classification The winner is the driver with the fastest total time during the season
Points Classification The winner is the driver with most points during the season
King of FL The winner is the driver with most points from fastest laps
Rokkie of the year The award is for the best rokkie during the season (GC results will be looked)
Best team The team with most points will win this championship
Best manufacturer The manufacturer with most points will win this championship

Additional classifications will be announced at later stage.

For the time classifications the term "Control time" will be used. In other words if a driver fails to enter within 110% of the winner's time his time will be 110% + 10 seconds (if 2 or more drivers fail to cover it the driver with the fastest time will be classified first and so on). If driver fails to attend the event the time will be 110% + 20 sec.
