With the pilot season 0 comming to an end plans for Season 1 in 2015 have started. Alltough the calendar has not been announced yet, it is rumoured that some of the events will support the GR FormulaCup S5. However the TouringCup will have some standalone as well and the series promoter has announced a deal with the authorities of the French city of Bordeaux to host the French round of the series. This means that the rounds in France from FormulaCup and TouringCup will be standalone one another.

The track will be located in the city park of Bordeaux and will be 1161 meters long which makes it the longest track ever. The course features a mixture of fast sweeping corners and technical slow corners and curves. Moreover the track is cobbled, which means a greater challenge for the drivers.

It is unknown what the number of races will be and which tracks will be included. It was reported that Giuseppe Arnoni, owner of Circuito di Montabienchi, is currently negotiating with both the FormulaCup and TouringCup promoters to include the track. Meanwhile both Great Circuit of Alberta and Ottawa Racepark have expressed willingness to host the Canadian round, while Stockholm and Helsinki could replace Antrim and Marsh for a double header in Scandinavia.

Confirmation of the calendar will follow shortly
